EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah (ABC4) — More than 20,000 residences are without power in Utah County, according to Rocky Mountain Power.
The company said Friday morning that the power outage is affecting 21,837 customers in Cedar Fork, Eagle Mountain, and Fairfield and could last until 8 p.m. Friday night. The outages were first reported around 11:30 a.m.
Eagle Mountain residents reported that some traffic lights were not functioning, impacting the flow of traffic.
The company said the outage is “due to a loss of transmission” and the website lists the cause as a “damaged line.”
